Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi played a full part in Leicester City's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday, as the Foxes were held by their hosts in a tense encounter.
Conor Coady gave Leicester City an early lead, but Nottingham Forest responded quickly with Morgan Gibbs-White leveling the score just six minutes later. Chris Wood then put Forest ahead in the 56th minute, only for substitute Facundo Buonanotte to score a late equaliser for Ruud van Nistelrooy's side in the 81st minute.

This was a positive result for Ndidi and his teammates, who secured their first win in several games last week with a 2-0 victory over Southampton.
Ndidi's solid midfield display amidst stalemate
Wilfred Ndidi delivered a solid midfield performance in Leicester's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
The Super Eagles star completed 30 out of 40 passes, achieving a pass accuracy rate of 75%. Known for his aerial prowess, the former KRC Genk man won four out of five aerial duels, while also contributing defensively with five clearances and four interceptions.
Though Leicester were unable to secure all three points, Ndidi’s all-round display in the middle of the park provided stability for his side throughout the contest.

The performance was a timely reminder of his quality, especially as transfer speculation around his future intensifies. On a day the Foxes needed leadership, he stepped up and delivered with control and composure.
The 28-year-old has featured in 28 matches across all competitions for the Foxes this season, starting each one, registering one goal and four assists while averaging 82 minutes per appearance.
