Afrobeats superstar urges Barcelona to sign Victor Osimhen

Nigerian afrobeats artist Oluwatosin Oluwole, also known as Mr Eazi, has clamoured for Victor Osimhen to switch to Barcelona, Afrik Foot reports.

This came after Hansi Flick’s side were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Ademola Lookman’s Atletico Madrid.

While Barcelona played well across both legs, mustering 15 shots on target, scoring two goals from them highlighted their profligacy in front of goal.

Barcelona fans for the longest have been complaining about not having a striker to match Lamine Yamal’s creativity, and Eazi, watching the game last night, agreed.

The ‘Skin tight’ crooner took to X shortly after Barcelona were dumped out of the UEFA Champions League by Atlético Madrid, posting: “In other news, Osimhen needs to come to Barca.”

Interestingly, Don Eazi’s post did not come out of nowhere. Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal had already publicly expressed admiration for Osimhen in recent weeks.

The 18-year-old winger views the Super Eagles forward as his ideal attacking partner, a striker capable of stretching defences, attacking crosses, and converting half-chances.

Osimhen’s style contrasts sharply with Barcelona’s current options. He is not just a penalty-box finisher.

The Galatasaray man presses aggressively, runs channels tirelessly, and thrives in chaotic situations, qualities that often separate winners from nearly-men, as was seen in the games against Juventus and twice against Liverpool this season.

Victor Osimhen’s potential move to the Spotify Camp Nou is expected to cost nothing less than 80 million euros, a fee Barca have to churn out if they’re to sign a clinical attacker.
