Gift Monday’s POTM performance

The 24-year-old showcased her clinical finishing with a well-taken brace. Her first goal came in the 52nd minute when she slotted a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner, leveling the score after Tenerife had fallen behind early.

Just 12 minutes later, she completed her brace with a composed right-footed finish, capitalizing on a precise through ball from Sandra Castelló.

Monday was a constant threat throughout the match. She registered four shots on target from five attempts, maintaining a 78% pass accuracy with 21 successful passes from 27 attempts.

Despite missing one big chance, Monday’s sharp movement and positioning kept Deportivo’s defense on high alert.

Babajide’s creative brilliance

The former Liverpool youngster complemented Monday’s goalscoring heroics with a goal and an assist in her 82-minute outing.

Babajide scored Tenerife’s third in the 69th minute, rifling a left-footed effort into the top corner after a fine assist from Claudia Blanco.

Later, she turned provider in the 81st minute, setting up Sakina Ouzraoui Diki for the team’s fifth goal with an exquisite pass.

The dynamic winger completed four successful dribbles, delivered 11 crosses (three accurate), and made four key passes. Her overall influence was evident in her 36 touches and 69% pass accuracy.
